NAE™ Project: Update

Saturday, November 27, 2010

Ladies and Gentlemen:

Another Saturday work party is in the books.  Present:  Keith Zanghi, Von Armstrong, Ed Shadle, Sean Rondestvedt, Rhyley Sparks and Chris Greene.

Visiting today:  Ed's grandson and live wire, Alex Shadle, and Alex's  cousins Karizma Houze and Jaime Jasper.  Jaime's brother Gio Houze visited on Friday.  They spent the day at the hangar riding their bikes, fixing kid food and popcorn, and generally doing what kids do....playing very hard.

Keith got the old heater fired up first thing to take the chill off.  It is beyond noisy but does make for a warmer inside work area.

Work goes on in preparing the North American Eagle™ for  mid-range speed tests.  All the components are coming together.  Sean and Keith were busy fastening rivets and working on the undercarriage.  Ed was tweaking up instrument gauges in the cockpit.  The aerodynamics folks are crunching data for final fuselage design.  And we are all looking forward to mother nature, financing, and a good long stretch of suitable real estate to come together as well.  Patience and perseverance will prevail.

Next weekend the team will remove the front steering box and perform preventative maintenance.

We know a lot of our fans are on facebook.  Now the North American Eagle™ is on facebook!   In fact many of our team members are also!  Tell your friends! It's fun!

We invite you to add a comment, or remark, about our program or the site.
