NAE™ Project: Update

Featured Sponsors

Tuesday, February 2, 2011

Ladies and Gentlemen:

We learned today that the North American Eagle™ was made part of the marketing efforts of the Washington Aviation Association and their promotion of the upcoming exhibition at the Puyallup Fair Grounds.

This is especially exciting because long time friend of the North American Eagle™, Col Joe Kittinger (USAF Ret) will be the keynote speaker.

Col. Joe is a technical consultant and trusted advisor on the Eagle. His expertise in experimental flight test and years of involvement in high risk endeavors, is a great sounding board when we need some bottom line advice.

Col. Joe is most famous for his participation in Project Manhigh and Project Excelsior, holding the records for having the highest, fastest and longest skydive and as being the first man to make a solo crossing of the Atlantic Ocean in a gas balloon. Serving as a fighter pilot during the Vietnam War, he was shot down and spent 11 months in a North Vietnamese prison.

Col. Joe has received numerous awards including receiving the Distinguished Flying Cross twice and being awarded the Harmon Trophy by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. In 1997 Col Joe was enshrined in the National Aviation Hall of Fame. He has twice been the recipient of the FAI Montgolfier Diplome - 1983 & 1984: The highest award given to a balloonist each year. His resume and achievements are so long we invite you to click this link! And if that wasn't enough, his hometown of Orlando FL has a park dedicated to his achievements! He volunteers a lot of time to the Boy Scouts or Civil Air Patrol Cadets. If you would like to read more about Col Joe, you can read his latest book Come Up and Get Me. WE invite you to put February 26th on your calendar and come and listen to a true American Hero: Col Joe Kittinger.

Ed, Keith and Steve Wallace will be traveling to Orlando, FL in early April to give a presentation at COE 2011 Annual PLM Conference and TechniFair. The three will be keynote speakers.

We know a lot of our fans are on facebook.  Now the North American Eagle™ is on facebook!   In fact many of our team members are also!  Tell your friends! It's fun!

We invite you to add a comment, or remark, about our program or the site.
