John Zambrano
Jet Engine Specialist

john zambrano

March 10, 2006 - John became a father, again, Tuesday with the birth of his son, Jackson Bryant Zambrano. This marks the second occassion (Alex, the grandson of driver Ed Shadle) whereby a team member has had a child born during the project's life. Plans are already underway to put a wrench in his hand and send him into the "smaller place" the rest of the team can't, but need, to get to. (Picture coming soon.)

TSgt. (Technical Sergeant) John Zambrano has 12 years active service in the US Air Force and is station at  McChord AF Base working on the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III.    John has extensive experience working on TF33, TF34 and F117 Aircraft.  He has over 6 years in jet engine test cells,  3 years in tear down and build up and 3 years in Flightline / HSC.   He is qualified on 3 different engines.   In addition he is a qualified investigator of engine mishaps.  He brings a wealth of knowledge to the North American Eage™ Team.

John Zambrano was interviewed, and an article published in the November issue of the McChord AFB's The Northwest Airlifter. To read the entire article, click here.

Along with Bill Eckberg, Sean Rondestvedt, Dave Selby, and Robin Sipe, with Team S&S Turbine Services in Fort St. John, BC, the North American Eagle™ has more engine knowledge than any previous group to ever challenge the world land speed record for automobiles in the unlimited class.
